Building the Real-World Metaverse

Together with Niantic and Nexus Studios we built a mobile app of playful tech demos showcasing the capabilities of Niantic’s new AR platform, Lightship ARDK.

Winner of Best in Show at AWE in 2021, “AR Voyage” demonstrates Meshing, Occlusion, Multiplayer, and Semantic Segmentation. For the 2022 Lightship Summit we extended the app with Niantic’s new Visual Positioning Service (VPS) to create a walking tour of notable landmarks in downtown San Francisco.
